They are worth every cent. American bombs punished the Russians [WIDEO]

The Ukrainian Air Force is one of the main beneficiaries of the activities of local drone formations, which often target Russian air defense systems. Thanks to this, Ukrainian planes can attack Russians from the air more effectively, and we can see the effectiveness of this type of strikes in a new recording on the Internet.

Here we watch an airstrike by a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter, which drops two JDAM guided bombs – the same ones that were recently used by the Americans in Iran – on the fortified positions of Putin's soldiers who were hiding in apartment buildings. After the bombs hit, only rubble remained from their position:

What can the JDAM system do?

JDAM, or Joint Direct Attack Munition, is an ingenious and simply brilliant piece of equipment that can best be described as special attachments or harnesses that turn an unguided projectile into precise, “intelligent” ammunition with increased range and the ability to operate in all weather conditions.

In the normal version, such a weapon can hit a target from a distance of 40 km, but Ukraine received the JDAM-ER variant in early 2023 with an increased range of 80 km. This set allows the missile to glide to the target and hit the enemy with extremely precise precision; it also supports projectiles weighing from approximately 200 to even 900 kg. The GBU-62 variant used by the Ukrainians in this attack is specific because, instead of traditional warheads, it is built on the basis of the Mark 62 Quickstrike sea mine weighing 500 pounds (approx. 226 kg) or the Mark 64 Quickstrike mine (2,000 pounds – approx. 900 kg).
