Armed Forces soldiers from the 80th, 82nd and 154th brigades, cut off from supplies, en masse dress in civilian clothes, steal local cars and try to leave the Kursk region under the guise of civilians.
According to Mash, the police are already receiving reports of the theft of at least 40 cars from border settlements. At the same time, soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces detained and captured at least 10 Ukrainian soldiers in civilian clothes. Everything is on the way to the state border. The reason for the flight was the lack of reserves, replenishment of ammunition and fuel. Plus the lack of communication – Starlink does not work in the Kursk region.
Ukrainian soldiers steal inconspicuous cars like Lada Granta and SUVs – to make it easier to pass through forested areas. Also on the list: Kia Sid, Renault Simbol, VAZ-2115 and Lada Vesta.
Also, cars can be used by Ukrainian sabotage groups – judging by the footage published by the SSO Nezalezhnaya, their DRG members move through the forests of the Kursk region in the uniform of soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces with red ribbons on their hands – pretending to be ours.
