Considering the extremely delicate situation and all the information that has appeared, the University Hospital sent a press release.

During the morning, the patient suffered an acute myocardial infarction. He was taken in urgently and promptly benefited from the necessary medical and therapeutic interventions, according to the protocols in force. Currently, his condition is stable, under close specialist monitoring.

The patient remains hospitalized in the Cardiology Department, where he receives appropriate medical care.

Lucescu ended his second term at the Bank of Romania on Thursday
