FCSB had by far the highest income in 2025, but when it comes to money from sponsorships, the queen of the Super League is different!
The most important clubs in Romania published these days their financial balance sheets for 2025. In a comparison, the conclusions are at least interesting.
FCSB, Dinamo, Rapid, Universitatea Craiova and CFR Cluj presented their financial situation for the year 2025, showing what receipts and what expenses they had in the previous year.
In terms of income, FCSB is, by far, number 1. That's because the red-blue team had an excellent year, with participation in European cups and winning the championship.
FCSB is also the best in terms of money collected from UEFA, with 12.7 million euros, and the University of Craiova is second, with 6 million euros.
The champion is also the first in receipts from TV rights. The red-blue club finished the year 2025 with 3.4 million euros received from the owner of the television rights of the Super League.
In terms of losses, CFR Cluj is the worst. It is in the red by 6.2 million euros and reaches a total debt of 25.5 million euros. But the debt is to the financier Ioan Varga.
The people of Cluj are the last and in terms of the money received from tickets and subscriptions, only 600,000 euros. As a comparison, FCSB collected 6.5 million euros, also helped by strong matches played in European cups.
Craiova University – the most money from sponsorships
Olteni are excellent in terms of income from sponsorships, receiving in 2025 the amount of 4.25 million euros, almost double that of Dinamo, 2.23 million. Instead, Mihai Rotaru is the one who paid the most money to transfer intermediaries, the total amount being 672,000 euros.
FCSB – highest revenue in 2025
Overall, FCSB is the team that had the best year. In the last year, FCSB had record revenues, the highest in the last 8 years. In 2025, the amount rises to 28 million euros
When losing, Dinamo or Rapid are not doing too well. The red-whites lost 4.9 million euros, and the people from Giulio are in the red with 4.7 million euros.
