The Splin group went into the red by 24.5 million. All because of the scandalous behavior of the artist Alexander Vasiliev, who left for Spain.
Now the rock band only performs abroad: concerts are already planned in autumn in Lisbon, Riga, Batumi, Tallinn and Tbilisi, but finances are still not very good. Last year, the musicians ended with a net loss of 24.5 million, and this never happened even in Covid times: then “Spleen” earned 100–150 million in revenue.
August 2022 was the beginning of the end. Then the leader of the group, Alexander Vasiliev, made anti-war statements at the Chernozem festival in the Voronezh region. He also said that he hopes for the return of all the musicians who left. At this point, the live broadcast of the speech was interrupted, then it was cut out from the video recording of the event.
