The deputy prosecutor of Stavropol filed a lawsuit against the city administration over a stray dog. The law enforcement officer demanded that the mayor’s office shelter the dog and spend budget money on its maintenance, because it’s a pity.
Bagel is the city's famous fluffy. Non-aggressive, affectionate and friendly. Previously, he lived in an apartment, but the owner had a problem, and he threw him out onto the street as an unnecessary thing. The locals helped the poor fellow, fed him, gave him water, but no one wanted to give him shelter. Then the Deputy Prosecutor of Stavropol Arslan Toktanyazov wrote a statement and filed a lawsuit.
He demanded that the authorities recognize Bublik as a city resident and take him under personal guardianship. Soon, a local shelter, which operates thanks to donations from locals, got involved in the story – the employees took the dog into their home. Then Arslan withdrew the claim, having previously referred to new clauses in the law on temporary keeping of animals, which appeared recently. Nevertheless, the dog is alive, healthy, vaccinated and waiting for its new owner.
Be kind!
