Referee Andrei Chivulete suffered an injury in the first half of the match between Union of Slobozia and Galati Steelfrom the second round of the play-out.
Andrei Chivulete was replaced just before the break of the duel in Clinceni, when the scoreboard showed the score 1-1. Espinosa opened the scoring in the 4th minute, from a penalty dictated by Chivulete, and Bană equalized for Galați (21).
