Directly qualified in the second round of the Miami Open, Alexander Zverev faced the American Martin Damm. Sascha needed only 70 minutes to prevail with the score of 6-2, 6-4, giving up only 3 points on his own serve.

Outside the Masters, the best performance in this regard belongs to Michael Berrer, who did not drop a single point on his own serve against Abdulla Hajji at the ATP 500 in Doha.

In the next round, Alexander Zverev will face 37-year-old veteran Marin Cilic (#49 ATP). Previously, the Croatian defeated the American Brandon Nakashima (24 years old, #30 ATP), score 2-6, 6-4, 7-6(7).

At the previous tournament, Indian Wells, also held in the United States of America, Alexander Zverev reached the semifinals, where he was eliminated by world number 2 Jannik Sinner (24 years old), score 2-6, 4-6, in a match that lasted one hour and 24 minutes.
