The weather suddenly warms up after the weekend. Maximums of up to 20 degrees Celsius, announced by ANM

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) announces a radical change in the weather immediately after this weekend. Temperatures will rise steadily, from 12 degrees at the beginning of the week to the 20 degrees Celsius threshold during the Easter holidays.

The weather remains stable this weekend, with temperatures close to the normal for the period, but from Monday the thermal values will increase significantly, announced the general director of ANM, Elena Mateescu, on Digi 24.

“At the end of the week, we count on small variations from one day to the next, with minimum temperatures that can go down to -5 degrees in the depressions in eastern Transylvania and up to 6-7 degrees in the west and southwest of the country,” said the head of the ANM.

Starting from Monday, the warming process will be clearly felt throughout the country, especially during the day. On Tuesday, the maximum temperatures will already be between 12 and 17 degrees Celsius.

The warming trend will continue into the second part of next week. From Thursday, the thermal values will reach 18-19 degrees, including in the capital.

The temperature peak is expected even during the holidays, when the weather will be typical of spring

“For the Easter period, the temperatures will be close to the normal for the date on the calendar, which means that it is possible to reach 19-20 degrees, with 17-18 degrees in the Capital”, stated Elena Mateescu.
