Răzvan Marin qualifies even after the defeat

The first four matches of the evening are already over. AEK Atena, Răzvan Marin's team, lost at home against Celje, score 0-2, but the Greeks move on thanks to the decisive success in the round, 4-0. Instead, Rakow, the formation of Bogdan Racovițan, was eliminated after the defeat with Fiorentina, score 1-2. The Italians also prevailed in the first leg and qualified without emotions.

In a balanced duel, Crystal Palace and AEK Larnaca finished 1-1 in regulation time, but the English prevailed in extra time, score 2-1, and got the ticket for the “quarters”. At the same time, Mainz qualified after the 2-0 victory over Sigma Olomouc, after 0-0 in the round.

Reason, qualification, still after a defeat

The last four games of the evening started at 22:00. Rayo Vallecano, Andrei Rațiu's team, received the visit of the Turks from Samsunspor, after the Spaniards won 3-1 in the round. In the second leg, the guests won 1-0, but Rayo secured qualification for the general.

Thus, Andrei Rațiu will face Răzvan Marin and AEK Atena in the quarterfinals of the competition. In the other games, Lech Poznan defeated Shakhtior Donetsk, but the Ukrainians advance thanks to the victory in the round, 3-1. AZ Alkmaar achieved the score of the night, 4-0 away to Sparta Prague, qualifying 6-1 on aggregate.

In the last duel, Strasbourg and Rijeka drew 1-1, but the French have the advantage of the victory in the round and get the qualification in the “quarters”.
