One of the founding fathers of Russian television, Nikolai Svanidze, has died. He was 69 years old. The TV journalist died last night. In recent years he suffered from cerebral ischemia.
Since 1991, Svanidze has been the author and presenter of a whole series of historical television programs and films. For example, he hosted the shows “Details”, “Contrasts”, “Court of Time”, “Historical Process”. He was also the author of the Mirror program.
