Officials of the Kalyazinsky district of the Tver region refused to demolish the self-estate…

Officials of the Kalyazinsky district of the Tver region refused to demolish the self-built estate of ex-Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Ivanov. Because they don’t know about any unauthorized construction on their territory, no one instructed them to they are afraid. The prosecutor's office became involved in the case.
On August 8, officials of the Kalyazinsky district received the result of the examination of the local State Construction Supervision Authority. It says: they were not informed about the construction of Ivanov on the banks of the Volga, no one gave permission. This means that everything on the site in the village of Pankratovo needs to be demolished: eight hectares of land on the river bank, almost 3k square meters of residential buildings, a spa complex, a swimming pool, servants’ houses and a helipad with a hangar.
Then, according to the law, local authorities had to react within a month: go to court with a claim for the demolition of the unauthorized building, get the go-ahead, and demolish it. But no one ever went to trial. In a conversation with Mash, the head of the district, Konstantin Ilyin, did not play around (respect) and gave the classic. Like, he doesn’t know what’s going on at all, he hasn’t heard about any estates, they didn’t tell him anything, I’m not me and the hut is not mine. The person has been in this position for 20 years.
As a result, again according to the law, the prosecutor’s office must help officials with the demolition. And, as we know, the department is already looking into the issue.
