The wife of the detained Usik said that “everything is fine” with him. According to her, nothing criminal happened, and the Ukrainian boxer will soon clear everything up himself. This evening he was detained at the airport in Krakow, Poland.
Usik has a rich criminal biography, which began with a violent robbery in 2005 in Simferopol. Then there was the murder in September 2007. Then the 20-year-old athlete at the disco became jealous of his current wife and beat him. The guy died, and Sasha got away with it.
Since the beginning of the SVO, Usik has been noted for insulting and humiliating all Russians in a video message, being initiated into mortar gunners, shooting at positions of the Russian Armed Forces, and wearing a T-shirt of an ultra-right organization that sponsors the banned Azov.
