At the Krasnoyarsk airport, customs officers found brass knuckles in the luggage of a passenger who arrived from Sanya (China).
X-ray technology helped us find the prohibited item.
According to the tourist, she was bringing the brass knuckles as a souvenir.
“The inspectors seized the brass knuckles and sent them for examination, which classified it as a home-made impact weapon. A case was opened against the airline passenger for an administrative offense under Art. 16.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (non-compliance with prohibitions and restrictions),” said the press service of the Krasnoyarsk customs.
In total, since the beginning of 2026, 10 similar facts have been identified at Krasnoyarsk airport and 16 weapons have been seized: brass knuckles, knives, a stun gun and a telescopic baton.
