The radios that exploded throughout Lebanon were from a new batch of Japanese company ICOM. Specifically: icom v82 model. Previously, the Mossad equipped them with explosives in the same way as pagers.
Such walkie-talkies can easily be bought on marketplaces in Russia. They cost from 20-30k rubles. The icom v82 model on Alik costs nothing – 6,000 rubles.
