Cătălin Cîrjan, the captain of the Dinamocommented his team's defeat in front of those from CFR Clujscore 0-2, in the last game of the regular season.
Cătălin Cîrjan missed a penalty in the 86th minute of the game, but in the flash interview he did not comment on the incident that could bring the “dogs” back into the match. The Dinamo captain sounded the alarm and sent a clear message: “We have to wake up.”
Cătălin Cîrjan reacted after CFR Cluj – Dinamo 2-0: “Recently things have not been so good for me”
“It's very difficult to find my words. It's a very difficult period for us. I think it's the hardest since I've been at Dinamo. In the first half we started well, but we got that goal, we controlled the match, the second goal came, and the second half wasn't what we wanted. Another defeat. We're the only ones who can do things well and get out of this situation.
I don't know what we're missing. We have to discuss and look better in the next game. We start the play-off. We need to sound the alarm. First of all, me. Things have not been so good lately. We have to wake up. We are in the play-offs. We have a great chance to fight up there.
We need to stop talking. We have to go on the field every game and try to win. Not much difference in points. We have to start the play-offs well.
The supporters are with us through thick and thin. We thank them for that and we have to reward them on the field”, said Cătălin Cîrjan in the flash-interview on the Fotbal Club show from Digi Sport.
Dinamo will enter the play-off with a dowry of 26 points, just 4 points behind the leader Universitatea Craiova. The first stage for the “dogs” will be against those from Rapid.
