“Sharing the lawn?!” » The locker room leader wants both derbies at Cluj Arena

Cluj University finished the regular season with a victory over FCSB, and now the Cluj players are preparing for the play-offs. Dan Nistor spoke about expectations and agrees that the Cluj derby will be played at the biggest stadium in the city.
However, with Cristiano Bergodi suspended after the serious incidents from the match with CFR Cluj in February, Cluj University prevailed 3-1 in Bucharest and is now ready to attack the play-off with all its might.
Even if they are not thinking about the title of champion, Cluj hopes to reach a European cup and make the supporters happy. And depending on the results of this round, the University can start the play-off even with its great rival, CFR Cluj.
“Now we will have two matches with CFR, so we have to be calm in the matches with CFR because you also know it's a Cluj derby, it's very important for our supporters and it's all kinds of pride and sparks”, says Nistor.
Nistor would like to “double” with CFR at Cluj Arena!
Asked by the GSP reporter if it would be a good idea for the “double” with the rival from the city to play at Cluj Arena, the biggest stadium in the country, the midfielder and leader of the “students” answered without thinking too much.
“I would like it, you know. If it were possible, I would very much like it,” stated Nistor. Who did not hesitate to sting those from Gruia: “We can't divide the lawns because we have no way, because there are 20 of them, what to do…”.
I hope that Mr. Bergodi will give a beer after this victory! That's it, he's back on the bench from the next game. I think we fully deserve to be in the play-offs and this was also seen with FCSB. It's hard to think about the title because there are other stronger teams than us. But it's clear that there will be 10 games, 10 finals, 30 points at stake and I think it will be a fairly contested play-off.

Upset about being kicked out of town!
If the University qualifies in the preliminaries of the European Cups, the team will not be able to play the matches at Cluj Arena. That's where the Untold festival will take place.

“I am not in a position to discuss this… We would like to play at home, but it is Untold. We want it for our supporters and it was nice for the city. But unfortunately it's this concert… If it were up to me, but it's not possible”, commented Nistor at the end of the game in Bucharest.
CFR Cluj can even play at Cluj Arena
CFR Cluj could play matches at Cluj Arena, but only with the observance of strict conditions imposed by the stadium administrators.
Cluj Arena
From concluding an official contract and paying all fees, to obtaining security approvals and clearly establishing the schedule, the team patronized by Ioan Varga must go through a series of administrative steps to be able to rent the arena of the rival in the city.
Cluj-Napoca County Council officials specified, in the answer provided to Gazeta Sporturilor, that “in recent years, there have been no requests from the FC CFR 1907 Cluj SA team to play matches at Cluj Arena”.
Asked directly if “there are specific additional criteria for teams, with the exception of Cluj University”, the representatives of the Cluj-Napoca County Council answered: “There are no additional criteria or specific limitations for teams, regardless of their name.”
