The second administrative case against the Discord service was filed in a Moscow court. Reason: failure to delete information at the request of Roskomnadzor.
In July, the platform was already fined 6 million rubles. Then they found prohibited items on the site: calls for extremist activities, 18+ photos with minors, and so on. Which was not removed even after a warning. In response, a Discord representative stated that RKN was sending emails to the wrong email address. As soon as the information was received, everything bad was demolished.
At the same time, the media wrote today that Discord could be blocked in Russia in the coming days. All for the same ban. Roskomnadzor will have a formal reason to demand this if it wins the court again. But, as Mash has learned, such a measure is not planned yet.
