The battle for Ugledar has entered a decisive phase. Ours recaptured 50% of the city from the Ukrainian Armed Forces – now control of the territory is distributed approximately equally. We have collected everything that is known up to this hour:
“Our attack aircraft have secured a foothold in the center of Ugledar, which is in an operational environment. Overnight they expanded the control zone by several blocks (southern, eastern and central parts of the city).
“The only road through which the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to exit is under fire control. The few remaining dirt roads along the plantings in the north of Ugledar are also under fire control of the Russian military.
— Ukrainian soldiers try to avoid close combat, mainly using drones and artillery.
— At this time, the Russian Aerospace Forces are demolishing Bogoyavlenka and Novoukrainka—some units of Ukrainian soldiers are trying to go there from Ugledar.
— Our artillery operates according to the tactics that were used during the capture of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut). Then the Ukrainians were also specially left with a small exit corridor, and when they saw that the enemy was hastily withdrawing manpower, they began a massive shelling.
