Quick “Anthill” in 30 minutes: the cake will outshine any store-bought sweets

This recipe will become your lifesaver when you want something tasty but don’t have time to bake. If guests are already on the doorstep, and nothing is prepared for tea, such an “Anthill” will save the situation. The dessert is prepared instantly from products that are probably found in every home.

Ingredients:

Shortbread cookies – 500 g
Butter – 200 g
Condensed milk – 1 can
Walnuts – 100 g
Cocoa powder – 2 tbsp. spoons
Chocolate chips or cookie crumbs – for decoration

How to cook:

  • Grind the cookies into crumbs using a blender or rolling pin. Don't aim for a homogeneous flour: leave a few large pieces to make the texture of the cake more interesting.
  • Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave until liquid, but do not boil it.
In a deep bowl, mix warm melted butter with condensed milk until smooth and creamy.
  • Add cocoa powder and stir until smooth and chocolatey.
  • Pour the cookie crumbs into the cream and mix thoroughly so that every particle is saturated with the sweet mass.
  • Add pre-chopped walnuts and gently mix the dough again.
  • Place the mixture on a flat dish, forming a high mound with your hands, imitating an anthill.
  • Sprinkle the top and sides with chocolate chips or remaining cocoa for decoration.
  • Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour so that it hardens well and holds its shape.

Bon appetit!
