Israel carried out a new wave of strikes on targets in Iran and Lebanon on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the country's armed forces (IDF) reported on Wednesday morning. In Tehran, the following people were attacked, among others: headquarters of the Basij militia under the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).


“The targets of the attack were command centers used by the Iranian regime to maintain control over all of Iran and assess the situation,” the Israeli Defense Forces said.
They reported that the airstrikes bombed facilities belonging to the Iranian army's logistics unit, missile launchers and air defense systems. Overall, according to the IDF, dozens of targets were attacked last night.
Separately, the IDF said that since the pro-Iranian Lebanese organization Hezbollah entered the conflict on Monday, Israeli troops have attacked over 250 targets in Lebanon, including 100 in the previous 24 hours. The targets in Lebanon included high-ranking members of terrorist organizations, rocket launchers, weapons caches and headquarters of Hezbollah and other terrorist groups, it said.
Earlier in the night, the Israeli armed forces reported an attack on the Hezbollah command center in the area of the city of Nabatiya in southern Lebanon, as well as on other facilities belonging to this organization in this part of the country. (PAP)
