In a match in which not much came out, Craiova University emerged victorious thanks to an own goal signed by Omar Pasagic. It ended 2-1 for Olteni against Metaloglobus.
Before the match, the outcome of this game was not in question. The only curiosity was how many times Filipe Coelho's students, the leaders of the championship, would score in pole position for the title.
However, the duel in Bănie started with a shock: Purece scored in the 3rd minute, and the “red lantern” remained in the lead until the 49th minute. Adrian Rus scored then and it seemed that the hosts would easily overturn the fate of the game, but it was not quite like that.
Craiova pedaled empty for a long time, needing an own goal to award all their points.

Bosnian stopper Omar Pasagic is the one who sent the ball into his own goal. He did it in the 79th minute.
At that stage, Bancu received the ball on the left flank, tricked Huiban with a change of direction and crossed with his right foot. Goalkeeper George Gavrilaș came out to meet the ball and probably would have reached it first, if it wasn't for Pasagic's unfortunate deflection.
With no imminent danger around, with Baiaram two meters away, Pasagic pounced but his attempt to clear the ball ended badly. He only managed to beat his colleague from the goal, extending the ball just so that Gavrilaș could no longer reach it.
It turned out to be the winning goal for Craiova, who are now certain to win the regular season, no matter what they do in the last leg against Rapid.
