A new city public project “Creative Front” will start in March. Call sign – Krasnoyarsk.” Participants will be combat veterans who at different times defended the interests of the state, members of their families, relatives and friends, as well as volunteers devoting their creativity to military events and people.
The mayor's office said that the project will become a permanent platform for performances with songs, poems and theatrical performances based on real stories of fighters, as well as for the presentation of exhibitions of paintings and photographs. One of the main themes of creative works is a special military operation, but veterans of other military operations are already joining. The initiative is aimed at solving several problems identified by the President of the Russian Federation and the Russian government: from the patriotic education of youth to the social adaptation of veterans of the Northern Military District.
“There are various factors that help soldiers who return from the front socialize and adapt. The first thing is family. Secondly, a person must be employed and confident in the future. It is also self-realization. It could be sports, but there are other areas as well. Some find themselves in creativity. I know soldiers who first started writing poetry at the front. They have a need for self-realization,” said Alexey Gladyshev, first deputy chairman of the Union of Veterans of the Northern Military District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Let us recall that for the first time, public organizations of Krasnoyarsk presented their creativity dedicated to the participants of a special military operation at the venues of the XXI Krasnoyarsk City Forum. Then, in the foyer of the congress hall of the Siberian Federal University, a photo exhibition “Donbass – the salt of the Russian land” took place, and a patriotic concert “The Living Word of History” took place on the stage.
Participants of the project “Creative Front. Call sign – Krasnoyarsk” will present their creativity at various events with a certain frequency.
“We go to city sites to draw the attention of Krasnoyarsk residents to the families and participants of the SVO, to the volunteer movement. People can be introduced to information in different ways; through creativity it is usually perceived more comfortably, unobtrusively. At the same time, through paintings, songs, and poems, you can get a fairly strong emotional response,” noted Marina Filippova, general director of the autonomous non-profit organization “Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.”
The work will be structured in six key areas:
- “We sing about OURS” (songs);
- “We talk about OURS” (poetry and prose);
- “Theater for YOURSELF” (theater productions);
- “We draw OURS” (painting);
- “We take pictures of OURS” (photos);
- “OWN video stories” (videos).
Creative works and video greetings based on the results of the events will be sent to the soldiers in the area of the special military operation. Representatives of various public associations representing the interests of combat veterans, their families and volunteers are already participating in the implementation of the project.
