College graduates in Moscow have become more in demand than specialists from universities. There remains a high demand for them in the labor market.
Thus, 75% of vacancies in the capital require secondary specialized education, and only 15% require higher education. Moreover, judging by the numbers, young people enter adulthood like this: 20% of the guys are college graduates, 60% are college graduates.
To correct the imbalance, in 2024 the number of budget places for ninth-graders was doubled. Another 10k graduates received free education. In total, 36 thousand people study at the expense of the state. In addition, colleges are being renovated and new equipment is being purchased for classrooms.
