The family lived on alimony and disability pensions. For 5 years, the family only went to the park a few times; the rest of the time they spent in a rented apartment. The mother convinced the children that they would soon move to America.
Recently, the body of her youngest daughter Sofia was discovered in a rented apartment. An 11-year-old child died of type 1 diabetes; the girl’s mother tried to treat her on her own.
The children were malnourished due to minimal food and did not receive proper education and care. Now a criminal case has been opened against the mother of many children.
