Fabio Capello saw Bodo/Glimt

Fabio Capello (79 years old) analyzed the failure of Inter on the ground of Bodo/Glimtscore 1-3, in the first leg of the play-off for the “eights” of the Champions League, and he is convinced that the team coached by Cristi Chivu (45 years old) can return the result in Italy, on February 24.
Fabio Capello is always keeping an eye on what his former AS Roma pupil is doing since he left Parma to coach Inter.
The former great coach gave his opinion again on Inter's game, but also on what lies ahead for last season's Champions League finalist.
Fabio Capello believes Cristi Chivu's side can and must turn their qualification fortunes around in Italy: “At home, on a normal pitch, Inter are transforming”
Capello believes that even the synthetic pitch in Norway did not help Inter, who become a different team when they play on their own ground.
He believes the same will happen in the second leg, when Inter need to score at least twice to qualify.
“Bodo/Glimt had already achieved great results. They play football as if it were futsal: narrow pitch, very fast, always compact, immediately jump on the opponent. Inter suffered, had few opportunities.
The Norwegians did not lose the ball and quickly recovered it, they did not allow Inter to play at a slower pace. I expected more attention from Inter.
Inter can reverse the result. At home, on a normal pitch, Inter transforms; he can't play the way he did tonight with so many difficulties caused by the playing surface.
Inter try to play the ball on the grass, with changes of direction, with Dimarco crossing into the box, then everything changes. Tonight I never saw that, Bodo didn't allow it. I think Inter need to do this at home and they can manage to qualify“, explained Fabio Capello, according to fcinter1908.it.
