In connection with the celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day, Russians will have a three-day weekend at the end of this week.

Let us remind you that in 2026 February 23rd falls on the following Monday. According to the production calendar, this will be a non-working holiday, which will follow two regular days off – February 21 and 22. At the same time, working Friday, February 20, will not be shortened, since it does not directly precede the holiday.
And the next working week will be four days – from Tuesday, February 24, to Friday, February 27.
Let us add that at the beginning of spring, Russians will have a similar work schedule in connection with the celebration of International Women’s Day. The first full working week of March will end with a three-day weekend (from the 7th to the 9th), and the second will be a four-day weekend.
