Kacper Tomasiak with the second medal. He will get a lot of money for it


We have another medal at the Winter Olympics. On Saturday evening, ski jumper Kacper Tomasiak stood on the podium for the second time.
“After the first series of competitions on the large hill, Kacper Tomasiak was in fourth place. For a jump of 133 m, he scored 141.8 points. In the second series, the Pole jumped 138.5 m, which gave him a bronze medal,” reports Przegląd Sportowy.

Przegląd Sportowy indicates that the Pole will earn quite substantial money for this achievement. “For the Olympic bronze medal, Kacper Tomasiak will receive PLN 450,000 from the Polish Olympic Committee. PLN, of which PLN 300 thousand PLN in cash and PLN 150,000 PLN in tokens” – we read.

And this is not the first award. The 19-year-old earned more for his previous silver (PLN 600,000: PLN 400,000 in cash and PLN 200,000 in tokens). In addition, he will receive a painting, a holiday voucher and jewelry from the prize pool from the Polish Olympic Committee.
The Ministry of Sport and Tourism contributes. Przegląd Sportowy calculates that Kacper Tomasiak will receive a one-time prize for bronze PLN 61,516. It was for a silver medal PLN 78,241.
As if that wasn't enough, a Pole won the first medal he secured a 24-month scholarshipthe maximum monthly amount of which will be slightly over PLN 15,400 (approx. PLN 370,000 over the entire period).
Kacper Tomasiak secured his Olympic retirement
Thanks to his first silver medal, 19-year-old Kacper Tomasiak guaranteed himself a decent Olympic pension. The ministerial benefit paid to athletes after the age of 40 is currently PLN 5,116.99 net per month.. In Poland, approximately 600 people receive this benefit.
