“Unlimited potential”

The US president announced that the potential of the new organization established in January is “unlimited” and that it will become “the most significant international institution in history.”

Thursday's meeting of the Peace Council, at which countries are to announce their contribution to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, will be one of the first official acts of this organization. However, it is not yet clear who will attend the meeting. The leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, announced that his country would be represented by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Although most European countries have not yet joined the organization – exceptions include, among others: Hungary, Albania and Bulgaria – the leaders of Romania, Italy and Cyprus have announced their participation as observers in recent days.
