Making dumplings can take a long time, especially if you are making a large batch. But there is a way that will help simplify the process and make it faster. This method is used by Buryats and many other people who value their time. Those who have tried it claim that it really makes things easier.
To do this, roll out the dough as thin as possible, leaving 10 cm from the edge. Place 1 teaspoon portions of meat along the dough line, leaving 5 cm between them. Then the edge of the dough is folded in to cover the filling.
Next, take a shot glass or a small glass and press it onto the dough on top of the filling. This way the edges of the dough are well sealed and the filling is inside. This method allows you to stick a large number of dumplings in a short time, while they turn out neat and with good filling.
