Bekh-Romanchuk reported that her daughter was born on the evening of February 13.
“At 19:40 our best girl was born. 3150/51 cm of pure happiness,” she wrote.
The athlete has not yet disclosed the name of her newborn daughter.
Context
Bekh-Romanchuk is a titled Ukrainian athlete, she competes in two disciplines: long jump and triple jump. In 2019, at the World Championships, she won a silver medal in the long jump, and in 2023 she repeated this result, but in the triple jump. In 2021, Bekh-Romanchuk became European champion in indoor long jump, in 2022 – European champion in the triple jump, and in 2023 won gold in the triple jump at the European Games.
30-year-old Bekh-Romanchuk reported on September 15 that she and her husband, Ukrainian swimmer Mikhail Romanchuk, are expecting their first child. The athlete admitted that they will have a girl.
