Rapid officially announced the parting with the striker brought for one million euros: “Option of permanent transfer”

Rapid, through an official statement, announced the departure of striker Timotej Jambor (22 years old) to Slask Wroclaw, on loan until the end of this season, with the option of a permanent transfer.
A day ago, the president of Rapid, Victor Angelescu, confirmed for GSP.ro that “there are negotiations for Jambor's loan, and the decision will be made with the coach's agreement”.
At the end of the Romanian Cup match played by Rapid away from CFR Cluj, score 1-1, the technician Constantin Gâlcă stated that the Slovak striker left.

“Timotej Jambor will play on loan at Slask Wroclaw, a team from the second league in Poland, until the end of the season, with the option of a permanent transfer,” Rapid reported, through an official statement.
The Slovakian forward also sent a message to his teammates upon leaving for Poland: “I wish you the best of luck for the rest of the season. I hope you achieve the goals that everyone at the club is working towards. I wish you all the best and good luck! Come Quick!“.

Timotej Jambor thus arrives at Slask Wroclaw, the team in 8th place in the second division of Poland. The Slovakian striker's new team has 31 points and is 15 points from first place and 3 from 2nd place.
Jambor was transferred by Rapid in the summer of 2024 from MSK Zilina in exchange for the sum of one million euros. Last winter, the Slovak was loaned back to Zilina. Jambor returned to Rapid before this season, but only made 13 appearances in the Superliga, during which he scored a single goal, in a 3-0 away win against Hermannstadt.
For the center forward position, Jambor's basic position, Rapid has 3 more options: Elvir Koljic, Borisav Burmaz and newcomer Daniel Paraschiv.
