Residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory can receive up to 10 million rubles for projects on the unity of the peoples of Russia

In Russia, applications for the all-Russian grant competition “Movements of the First” have started. Residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and participants from other regions can receive financial support for organizing and holding competitions, festivals, rallies and other socially significant initiatives aimed at the development and self-realization of children and youth.

Applications for participation are accepted until March 10 through the portal for providing measures of financial state support of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

The organizers of the competition will pay special attention to projects that reflect the key theme of the year – the unity of the peoples of Russia. The “Movement of the First” will support initiatives aimed at strengthening the all-Russian civic identity, promoting the successes and achievements of our country, the Russian language and Russian culture.

“The First Movement grant competition is a real tool for turning an idea into a working project that will benefit children and youth. The experience of the Krasnoyarsk Territory shows that strong initiatives are born both in the regional center and in small cities and municipalities. In 2026, it is especially important for us that projects reflect the values ​​of the unity of the peoples of Russia, respect for the history and culture of the country and help children feel involved in the common cause,” said Ksenia Yurlagina, Chairman of the Council of the regional branch of the “First Movement” of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Last season, 8 winning projects from the Krasnoyarsk Territory received financial support in the amount of more than 5 million rubles.

One of them is the Firebird festival of the Krasnoyarsk Puppet Theater. It allowed school and amateur theaters to present performances based on works of Russian classics, revealing themes of love for the Motherland, respect for elders and national history. A competition for the best performances, master classes on the basics of directing and acting, and a literary workshop were also organized for the participants.

Also among the winning projects were: the environmental initiative “Big Eco-Games for Schoolchildren. Games that change the world” from Zheleznogorsk, which brought together more than 700 schoolchildren, the phygital marathon “Games of the Future in Achinsk”, the cultural and educational project “On the Roads of the Region” in Krasnoyarsk, an orienteering quest in the Kuraginsky Municipal District, a music competition named after P.I. Ivanov-Radkevich, the leader intensive “Summer of the First” and the puppet theater “Golden Key” from the Ermakovsky municipal district. These initiatives covered various territories of the region and sphere – from culture and sports to ecology and patriotic education.

The results of the competitive selection will be announced on April 1, 2026. The project is being implemented within the framework of the national project “Youth and Children”.
