The smallest girl in the history of Moscow healthcare was delivered at the Kommunarka perinatal center. Her weight is 400 GRAMS.
The girl was born three months earlier than expected. According to the doctors, her mother was admitted to them at 24 weeks with headaches and high blood pressure with a risk of miscarriage. Therefore, she urgently underwent a caesarean section.
The baby could not breathe on her own, she was resuscitated and, as soon as the girl’s condition stabilized, she was put on a ventilator. She spent more than 23 days on mechanical ventilation. She was discharged with a weight of 2740 grams and a height of 46 centimeters. Everything is fine with her, now she pleases her parents with her laughter and cute “aha”.
