In Krasnoyarsk, a former saleswoman accused of stealing money from her employer will appear in court.

The regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia said that in December last year, the duty department received a statement from the owner of a fast food pavilion that his former employee stole money in the amount of 20 thousand rubles from the safe and cash register and disappeared.

Law enforcement officers established that the saleswoman came to the pavilion early in the morning, opened the safe, from where she stole the proceeds for the previous days, and also took 5 thousand from the cash register, after which she closed the store, handed over the keys and left. The attacker's actions were recorded by cameras.

During the search, the police found out where the woman was. Law enforcement officers found and seized 500 rubles from her home. The attacker spent the rest of the money on groceries and personal needs. The woman explained that she decided to take this step because she thought that she would not be paid if she announced her resignation in advance.

A criminal case was opened against the previously unconvicted Krasnoyarsk woman under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The woman faces up to 5 years in prison.

The investigation has been completed and the case materials have been submitted to the court for consideration.
