Last June, a guy on a scooter crashed into a 65-year-old resident of St. Petersburg. The pensioner fell on the curb and hit her head. The woman was then diagnosed with multiple fractures, injuries and wounds on her legs.
A criminal case was opened against the culprit. The prosecutor demanded compensation from the scooter driver for moral damages in the amount of 900 thousand rubles and lost earnings in the amount of 497 thousand rubles. The court satisfied the demands.
