“For some reason, people perceive training as an opportunity to lose weight, but I can’t say that a lot of calories are spent there. One sandwich is like an hour and a half of training. One “Raphael” is like an hour of training. It’s easier not to eat this “Rafael” if you want to lose weight than to go and show off in the gym,” she noted.
According to Lutsenko, regular training is not needed for weight loss, but for well-being.
“You will never breathe normally, engage the diaphragm, intercostal muscles, recover from respiratory diseases, if you do not do some intense movements that raise your pulse higher than 130-140 beats per minute. Your heart must work more actively. If your leg muscles do not work, you will have varicose veins and swelling. That is, you must [тренироваться]. We have so many muscles that we actively use them,” the coach explained.
She emphasized that most diseases progress due to lack of exercise and poor diet, which includes too many sugars and fats. Lutsenko said that training lasting 10 minutes is enough to maintain health.
“It’s just that no one tries it. Only those who have tried it know that it works. We need muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility,” the coach explained.
