The registry office portal published a traditional rating of the most popular and rare names for newborns.

Thus, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the first month of 2026, Eva became the most popular female name – 29 newborns received it. Second place was shared by Arina and Anna (28 children each). Next come Alice (26) and Alexandra (25).
Among boys in January, the name Alexander was a confident leader (48 children). In second place is Mikhail (46 newborns), and the top five is completed by Artyom (36), Timofey (31) and Maxim (26).
The list of the rarest female names included Aurika, Lada, Robia, Elvira and Adiba. Among boys, the names Vakhid, Svyatogor, Emir, Ravil and Muhammad-Ali were isolated cases.
