The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Sorin Grindeanu, was received, on Tuesday, by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in Jerusalem, showing that they agreed to accelerate the Romanian-Israeli economic ties.

The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Sorin Grindeanu, met on Tuesday, on the first day of his official visit to Israel, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem.
“Meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We agreed to accelerate Romanian-Israeli economic ties. More Romanian companies in Israel, new Israeli investments in Romania and top expertise in AI and technology, to strengthen key sectors”the PSD president sent in a message on the X platform.
Sorin Grindeanu, together with a parliamentary delegation, is making an official visit to the State of Israel, between February 3-5.
During the official visit, he will have meetings with Isaac Herzog, the President of the State of Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Grindeanu will also visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial, where he will lay a wreath at the Hall of Remembrance.
