Elon Musk has merged his empire. Cosmic valuation


Musk wrote in a message posted on SpaceX's website that this is “not just the next chapter, but the next book in the SpaceX and xAI mission.”
He added that “current advances in artificial intelligence depend on large terrestrial data centers that require huge amounts of energy and cooling.” “Therefore the only logical solution is moving these resource-intensive efforts to a place with enormous power and space” – argued the billionaire.

According to him, within two or three years, “the cheapest way to generate AI calculations will be space.” This forecast is not shared by other companies building data centers, including Microsoft, noted AP.
The agency emphasized that Musk merged the companies before the initial public offering of SpaceX scheduled for this year.
The Axios website, citing a source familiar with the details of the transaction, wrote that the company's value after the merger is valued at approximately $1.2 trillion. In the past, Musk connected xAI, which released the Grok chatbot, with X (i.e. the former Twitter).
