“I was also looking at the statistics the other day. I was circumspect, you expect the series to be interrupted, but we continued with the fourth victory on the field in Giulesti. I don't know what the explanation is. But it is extremely important for the club, for our history: four victories in a row against Rapid.

We are satisfied that we managed to win, the three points are very important. The play-off is still far away, there are six games left, we are playing against the opponents, things can change from one week to the next. Today's victory is important, it was a tough trip, we can consider bonus points.

We look very good with Bergodi: he has 11 matches, 8 wins. With this victory we continue this very good trend. We had a difficult start to the season, the double in Europe, few points in the championship, we didn't win a single home game on tour.

Then we accumulated points and we are in the game. In stages 12-13 it was hard to say that we can fight for the play-offs, but now things have changed. From FC Argeș to FCSB, all teams have a chance to enter the play-offs. All 8 teams have chances for three places: both FCSB and Farul. FCSB is a team that can comfortably tie 3–4 wins.

Moruțan is certainly a plus for Rapid. Dobre, Moruțan, Koljic, Paraschiv, are very strong players. It could have been a stress factor because I knew that Moruțan was the starter, but I managed it very well.
