In Krasnoyarsk, a man robbed a store and returned back for a forgotten phone.

In Krasnoyarsk, police detained a robbery suspect who returned to the crime scene for a lost phone.
The police said that a 23-year-old man had gone into the store the day before and picked up groceries worth about 1,800 rubles. At the self-checkout, he scanned his purchases and then left without paying. Store workers tried to catch up with him, but to no avail.
“While running away with the stolen goods, the man dropped his mobile phone. Deciding to return for personal property, he headed back to the store. There he was met by employees of the PPSP regiment of the Krasnoyarsk MU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, who were called by the store security guards. The police detained the man and took him to the duty station,” the press service said.
The inquiry department of the OP No. 4 of the MU Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Krasnoyarsk” opened a criminal case against a previously unconvicted Krasnoyarsk resident under Part 1 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Robbery”. Now he faces up to four years in prison for attempting to steal food.
