A famous influencer posted an entry about giving birth. The complaint was submitted to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection

In her entry from January 16, 2026, Andziaks wrote about her birth at the Medicover hospital in Warsaw. “This is the second time I gave birth here and once again I felt wonderfully taken care of, and I remember the entire stay with longing and emotion,” she wrote. According to Olivia Drost from the oLIVE media agency, who noticed the post and analyzed the case on LinkedIn, the post did not mention paid cooperation with Medicovor. The guidelines of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection clearly state the need to include such information. According to Wirtualne Media, the correct note appeared in Angelika Trochonowicz's post only a few days later.

The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection confirms the complaint and points to social media platforms
Andziaks' original post was supposed to include a tag “@collaboration Medicover Hospital”. A few days later it was added that it was “paid cooperation”.
“A few years ago, the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection issued clear restrictions on advertising markings on influencers' channels and has already imposed the first million fines for incorrect information about advertising. How did it happen that neither anyone from Andziaks' management nor anyone from the client (agency/legal department?) ensured the correct markings?” – wrote Olivia Drost on Linkedin. Her words are quoted by Wirtualne Media.

Agnieszka Majchrzak from the UOKiK press office confirmed that a complaint had indeed been filed against the influencer. “Each case is analyzed by the Office and we take action where necessary and appropriate to ensure the protection of the public interest in the field of consumer protection,” she told Wirtualne Media.
At the same time, she emphasized that social media platforms should enforce their regulations regarding marking cooperation and “comply with applicable law in terms of quick and effective response to consumer complaints/notifications,” Wirtualne Media reported. She also added that so far the office has not conducted any proceedings in this regard.
