The NMU regime in Krasnoyarsk was extended for the third time in a row

In Krasnoyarsk and three other cities of the region, the NMU regime was extended, the Central Siberian Department of State Migration Service reported.

“From 19:00 on January 22 to 24:00 on January 24, meteorological conditions remain in Krasnoyarsk that are unfavorable for the dispersion of harmful impurities in the atmospheric air. NMUs of the first degree of danger are declared,” the department clarified.

The “black sky” regime was also extended in three more cities in the region. In Achinsk and Nazarovo until 19:00 on January 24, in Lesosibirsk – until 07:00 on January 25.

According to information from the Deputy Minister of Ecology of the region Yulia Gumenyuk, on January 21 in Krasnoyarsk, average daily excesses of suspended particles were recorded in Severny (up to 2.5 microns) – 1.69 MPCss, in Pokrovka (up to 2.5 microns) – 4.42 MPCss and in the Sverdlovsk region (up to 2.5 microns) – 1.88 MPCss. In Berezovka, nitrogen dioxide is 1.28 MPC. Average daily excesses at stationary posts in the cities of Achinsk, Lesosibirsk, Nazarovo were not recorded.

Let us remind you that the “black sky” regime was introduced in Krasnoyarsk on January 16. It was supposed to last until 15:00 on January 19, but it was extended until 19:00 on January 20. Then the NMU regime was again extended until 19:00 on January 22.
