In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 5 municipal youth centers were repaired and re-equipped. The press service of the Agency for Youth Policy and Implementation of Social Development Programs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory said that the work was carried out under the “Region for the Young” program of the national project “Youth and Children” and the regional project “Youth Centers 2.0”.
In Achinsk, the Siberia youth center, which is located in a former cinema, was reconstructed. The building was built in 1964. Workers renovated the façade, carried out partial redevelopment inside and renovated the auditorium. The result is a modern multifunctional space with areas for creativity and leisure, meetings, the work of the First Movement and the implementation of youth projects.
In Krasnoyarsk, the façade of the Good Deed volunteer center was updated. After renovation, the building now has meeting rooms, employee offices and a spacious hall for events. Now the institution can be considered a full-fledged resource center for supporting and developing the volunteer movement.
“A unique multifunctional platform was created in Lesosibirsk using funds from the federal and regional budgets. The new center is equipped with a creative workshop for design and 3D modeling, a mini-theater with a stage, a professional music studio, as well as a modern gym for fitness and dance,” the press service said.
Reconstruction was also carried out in other regional institutions. For example, in the village of Shalinskoye (Mansko-Uyarsky district), the Phoenix youth center was located in a previously abandoned building. The new facility has a conference room with a projector for lectures and film screenings, spaces for informal communication and project work, as well as offices for staff and convenient infrastructure for young people with disabilities.
In the village of Dorokhovo (Nazarovsky District), a previously unused facility was reconstructed. Now there is a youth center “Freestyle”, in which a sports studio and headquarters have been created for the implementation of flagship youth policy programs. All areas of the center, including the entrance and bathrooms, are adapted for visitors with limited mobility.
In 2026, it is planned to open two modular prefabricated youth centers in the village. Bogotol and Sharypovo, as well as to repair and equip two institutions that will be determined by competition.
