Gendarmerie, on alert at Rapid

The Rapid Gallery protested tonight, at the very first match of 2026. The supporters entered the stadium, at the match with Metaloglobusonly in the 15th minute, which is why the Gendarmerie was prepared to intervene at any moment, if the situation got out of control. The game started at 20:00, it is liveTEXT on GSP.ro and on TV on Prima Sport 1 and Digi Sport 1.
The reason for the protest? Already two days ago, Peluza Nord Rapid issued a new statement in which it announced that it would enter the stadium a quarter of an hour after the start of the game with Metaloglobus, as a form of protest against the club's management.
UPDATE at 20:07 » The fans from Peluza Nord have started to enter
After missing the start of the match, as a sign of protest, the fans from Giulești started entering at 20:07, led by Bocciu, the leader of the gallery.
Even though the “liberators” immediately came to meet them, to ensure that there would be no problems, there was no incident, and in the 15th minute they made their appearance in the stands.
From the 16th minute of the match they started singing. However, it was noticeable that all the banners and flags for this match were displayed upside down, upside down.
The fans keep the promise, the Gendarmerie is on alert
It's not quiet at all at Rapid even in the new year. After the fans on the lawn announced that they would protest, several stewards and several policemen were already in position before 18:00 to intervene if needed.
The representatives of the Gendarmerie are determined not to let those in the gallery enter as they wish to this match. Access will be normal, being controlled person to person, not in groups.
At around 19:00, about an hour before the start of the game, the Giulești gallery began to gather in the parking lot of the Multipurpose Hall. Bocciu and other fans are waiting for the moment when they will make their entrance into the arena after the 15th minute.
None of the approximately 150 speeders wanted to talk to the press.
While most fans are gathered at the side of the Multipurpose Hall, a few smaller groups are waiting on the main street for a sign for when access will be made.
Those who are not part of the gallery, but still have a ticket to Peluza Nord, entered the stadium around 19:15.
“There is no scandal at Rapid, it's just a protest,” said one of the supporters.
What started it all?
There are sparks between the gallery and the management of Giulšte, after this week Peluza Nord Rapid harshly accused the action of rapidist officials. The management of “Visinie” were at an exchange of experience with the heads of Genoa and there was an association of symbols between the two clubs, both owned by businessman Dan Șucu.
The photo in which Genoa appears on the back of Rapid's shirt and the year of the Italian club's founding angered the ultras. And from there the jihad began!

This is the first form of protest against the latest decisions (or lack thereof) of the club management. It's nothing radical, nothing complicated. Just a short break, just long enough to observe what Rapid means without supporters. We mention, to avoid any confusion: our support is unconditional.
We are not the employees of the club, we have no contracts, job descriptions or obligations assumed on paper. We do not receive salaries, bonuses or bonuses. All we offer is pure passion, time, money from our own pocket and a voice that doesn't shut up. If we sometimes choose to protest, we do it because we care, not because someone is forcing us to or because we have a financial interest. Our only interest is Rapid Bucharest.
