An ambulance in Russia must reach a patient within 20 minutes from the moment of the call, follows from the relevant government decree, which RIA Novosti reviewed.
According to the document, the time of arrival of a team to a patient when providing emergency medical care should not exceed 20 minutes from the moment of its call.
The resolution clarifies that in territorial state guarantee programs, the time it takes for an ambulance to arrive can be reasonably adjusted taking into account transport accessibility, population density, as well as the climatic and geographical characteristics of the regions.
