A 10-year-old child from Viziru commune, Brăila county, was assaulted with a knife by another minor of the same age, due to a misunderstanding related to a toy, informs the Brăila County Police Inspectorate (IPJ).

According to the cited source, on Friday, at around 4:40 p.m., the policemen from the Insuraței City Police were notified by calling 112 by a man about the fact that his 10-year-old son, from Viziru commune, had been assaulted with a knife, reports Agerpres.
“From the first checks, it seems that the 10-year-old minor, while he was in the outskirts of the Viziru locality, was assaulted by another 10-year-old minor, from the Viziru commune, due to a misunderstanding related to a toy”IPJ Brăila transmitted.
The assaulted minor was transported to the hospital for medical care.
The police are continuing their investigations to establish exactly all the circumstances in which the event took place.
