If ZUS is unable to issue such a certificate, e.g. because the period of work was completed a long time ago (before January 1, 1999), the employee will have the opportunity to prove the length of service with his or her own documents.
The length of service will include, among others: running a business, cooperation in running a company, suspension of activity for child care, work under mandate contracts, agency contracts or contracts for the provision of services.
