When we get rid of the frost. ANM announces the weather forecast for the next two weeks

The weather will warm up throughout the country from the middle of this week, after, in the first days, there will still be frost and negative temperatures both during the day and during the nights, according to the forecast published on Monday by meteorologists for the interval January 12-25.

Weather in Banat

In Banat, the weather will be particularly cold at the start of the range, with maximum temperatures on the first day around -6 degrees and frost on the night of Monday to Tuesday (January 12/13), when the average minimum temperature will be -10 degrees. From Tuesday (January 13), the weather will enter a warming process, so this estimate indicates, for the period January 14-25, an average of maximum temperatures over the entire region of 4-6 degrees, and for minimums of -2 to zero degrees, with a downward trend after January 22.

There will be precipitation between January 12 and 15, but on more extensive areas during Tuesday (January 13), when it will be quantitatively moderate. At the same time, there will be intervals with precipitation after January 19, with a higher probability around January 23.

The weather in Crisana

In Crisana, the weather will be particularly cold at the beginning of the reference interval, with maximum temperatures on the first day around -8 degrees and frost on extensive areas during the night from Monday to Tuesday (January 12/13), when the average minimum temperature will be -12 degrees. From January 13, the weather will enter a warming process, so that the regional average of maximum temperatures will rise to -2 degrees, and on January 14 and 15, values ​​of 2-3 degrees will be reached. For the period January 16-25, maximum temperatures of 4-6 degrees are estimated.

The increase in temperature will also be significant in terms of minimum temperatures, which will reach an average of between one degree and two degrees on January 15, to subsequently present values ​​between -4 and -2 degrees, with a downward trend after January 23. There will be precipitation between January 12 and 15, but on more extensive areas during Tuesday (January 13), when it will be quantitatively moderate. There will also be periods of precipitation after January 19th, with a higher probability around January 23rd.

The weather in Transylvania

In Transylvania, the weather will be very cold at the beginning of this week, with maximum temperatures, in the first two days (January 12 and 13), around -7 degrees, frost on extended areas during the night from Monday to Tuesday (January 12/13), when the average minimum temperature will be -15 degrees, but also on Wednesday night, especially in the east of the region, with an average of around -8 degrees.

From Wednesday, January 14, the weather will warm up, especially in hill and mountain areas, with the regional average maximum temperature rising to zero degrees. Between January 15 and 25, average daily temperature values ​​of 0 to 2 degrees are estimated.

The increase in temperature will also be significant in terms of minimum temperatures, which will reach an average of zero degrees on January 15th, to subsequently show variations from one day to another, with values ​​generally from -8 to -4 degrees and a downward trend after January 22nd. Precipitation will be reported between January 12 and 15, but on more extensive areas during the day of January 13. Intervals with precipitation will also be possible in the second decade of January, but this estimate indicates a relatively low probability.

Weather in Maramureș

In the first two days, January 12 and 13, the maximum temperatures will reach around -6 degrees. It will also be freezing on Monday night into Tuesday (January 12/13) when the average minimum temperature will be -14 degrees, but possible on Wednesday night with an average of -8 degrees. From January 14, the weather will warm up, so the average maximum temperature will rise to -1 degree, and between January 15 and 25, daily temperature values ​​on average of 2 to 3 degrees are estimated. And during the nights, an increase in temperatures will be felt, which will reach an average of zero degrees on January 15 and 16, to subsequently register between -6 and -4 degrees, with a downward trend after January 22.

Temporarily, there will be precipitation between January 12 and 15 and possible in the second decade of January, but with a higher probability after January 23.

Weather in Moldova

In Moldova, until January 15, the weather will be cold, locally frosty during the nights, with a regional average of maximum temperatures between -3 and -2 degrees, respectively minimums in general from -10 to -8 degrees. Between January 16 and 25, the regional average of the maximum temperatures will be around zero degrees, and regarding the minimum temperatures, an average will be recorded that will oscillate between -8 and -4 degrees. At the same time, between January 12 and 15, there will be light precipitation, transient and in limited areas. The chance for precipitation will also be reduced during the rest of the interval.

In Dobrogea

Until January 15, the weather will be cold, with limited areas of frost at night, with regional average highs between -2 and zero degrees, and lows generally between -8 and -6 degrees. The average maximum temperatures estimated for the period January 16-25 will oscillate between 2 and 5 degrees, while the minimums will be around -2 degrees. There will be periods of light precipitation in limited areas. After January 23, there is a possibility of an episode with precipitation over more extensive areas.

Weather in Muntenia

Cold weather is forecast for the Muntenia area, with maximum temperatures in the first two days (January 12 and 13) around -3 degrees, frost on extended areas during the night from Monday to Tuesday (January 12/13), when the average minimum temperatures will reach -12 degrees, but also isolated on Wednesday night, with an average of them around -7 degrees.

From Wednesday (January 14), the weather will warm up, particularly in hill and mountain areas, with the regional average maximum temperature set to rise to zero degrees. Between January 15 and 25, daily temperature values ​​are estimated on average between -1 degree and 3 degrees. The evolution will be similar for the temperatures during the nights, which will have a tendency to increase towards values ​​around -2 degrees, between January 17 and 20, followed by a slight decrease, up to a regional average of -5 degrees. There will be local precipitation throughout Tuesday (January 13), but also in the second decade of January, but with a relatively low probability.

The weather in Oltenia

On January 12 and 13, maximum temperatures will be around -2 degrees and it will be freezing in most of the region on the night of Monday to Tuesday (January 12/13), when the average minimum temperature reaches -11 degrees.

The weather will warm up between January 14 and 16, especially in the hill and mountain areas. Thus, the regional average of the maximum temperatures will increase to 3-5 degrees, and subsequently values ​​around 2 degrees are estimated. The regional average of minimum temperatures forecast for January 14-25 will be between -5 and -2 degrees. Precipitation will be reported over relatively extensive areas throughout Tuesday (January 13), but also after January 19.

Mountain weather

The weather will be frosty at the start of the range, both during the day and at night, with highs around -12 degrees and lows, on average, for the whole area, of -16 degrees. The temperature increase will be significant from January 14th, so the daily average maximum temperatures will be around zero degrees, with lower values ​​after January 23rd.

The evolution will be similar for the values ​​during the nights, which will present an average for the entire mountain area between -6 and -4 degrees, with a decreasing tendency towards the end of the anticipation interval when temperatures are estimated around -8 degrees. There will be precipitation between January 12 and 15, but on more extensive areas during Tuesday (January 13) when they will be quantitatively moderate, especially in the Western Carpathians and in the west of the Southern Carpathians. The probability of precipitation will also be after January 19.
